Before the socialist took over our government, poverty in this nation was not stagnant. Millions of emigrants came to this nation and most would be considered poor. If they remained where they came from, they would also have remained poor. The difference was this nation rewarded hard work. Those that worked hard, learned our ways, prospered.

The unfairness we have today is that the government is penalizing (and making it difficult) for someone to work their way out of poverty.

In fact with all the welfare programs they are taking the incentive away from people.

Life is not fair, it should not be the governments role to attempt to make it so.
