This is a cautionary tale about reading too much into the early debate showings of any party's candidates, no matter how good or bad.

Thanks for the ping! :)
Thats total projectionist. What part of If they follow the rules they can be treated fairly and equally in the country did you not understand?

Only if "wishful thinking" is a euphemism.
You’re not willing to look at all she says and it’s extremely confusing but it doesn’t even matter, as she’s not running. There are three days left.
You’re easily satisfied when it comes to your Sarah. You Palin worshipers don’t even care about her positions on the issues. You’re going to make excuses no matter what.
Wait until she becomes the front runner and wait until she has Obama and the Democrat machine gunning for her. It will make her problems in AK seem like a Sunday School picnic. Will she quit again?
People like you who didn't like Perry or were for another candidate before the debate... are still for another candidate after the debate... thus nothing changed. The only way any thing can change is if the people that support Perry abandon him and start supporting another candidate, and that apparently is not happening. And the reason that is not happening is... I honestly don't care if he does bad in the debates, his failure in the debates to articulate his positions and defend his record does not mean I don't know where he stands on the positions and that I don't not know what his record is.
I knew years ago about
TTC
gardacil
and his stands on all the issues frankly. Not a single NEW thing has come up that would make me question my support, and until something NEW comes up don't expect Perry's numbers to fall.
Wah!
It is a great honor to be in the presence of the Imam of 16 million Muslims around the world, a global humanitarian leader, a man of peace with a pluralistic vision for people around the world, His Highness, the Aga Khan, the 49th Hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims. Your Highness, on behalf of 23 million Texans, and over 600,000 thousand Muslims living in Texas, I extend our heartfelt appreciation for your 50 years of great international leadership. We are delighted to welcome you to the Lone Star State and participate in the celebration of your Golden Jubilee. I am also grateful to the many federal, state and local leaders in attendance tonight. By their presence, these special guests convey the profound respect that exists in the Western World for His Highness work and leadership.
Yep, Thats a conservative priniciple. /s
Perry vetoed a bill that would have protected the rights of land and homeowners. By vetoing that bill he left open the possibility of confiscating the land to use for the TTC.
Now theres a conservative principle. Oh wait .
President Foxs vision for an open border is a vision I embrace, as long as we demonstrate the will to address the obstacles to it.
Now, surely conservatives can get behind that philosophy. Well, maybe not so much. Hmmm, seems we have conundrum here.

I came accross a interesting article that sort of deals with Palin and her possible entry into the race
http://wrvo.com/post/gop-primary-scramble-could-mean-2012-voting-starts-early-maybe-even-2011
basically it says that because of states possibly hoping over one another to be first, the primaries might get moved up to the beginning of December, and because by law ballots have to be mailed out to the military 45 days before an election... that if Palin isn’t in the race by Halloween, she won’t even be on the ballot.
Palin says it’s not practical to deport them. Then what?
All you’re doing is criticize me, you’re ignoring the facts of Palin’s positions because you don’t care.
It's not fair! IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!!! WAH!
Being in Iowa, I’m aware of this. Iowa must be the first caucus in the country and even though that date is now set for Feb 6, it is possible it can change at any time. For those who claim Palin can wait as long as she wants, they just don’t understand the facts of how this process works.
Oooooh, that’s it!! We could do a ‘Dancing with the stars’ type debate system. Vote one off every week until we’re down to two, then let them run in the primary!
All the illegals could be sent to the buffer state ~ which would be totally free of interference from Mexico city.
We'd build our wall on what is now the Mexican side of the border.
All passenger traffic from the South to the US would have to land somewhere in the buffer state for passenger evaluation and clearance. People who we imagine might overstay a visa will have to stay there, or go back home.
NOTE: 12 to 30 million people can be caught and sent to this area in about 6 months time for just a few billion bucks. Ain't no thang, and it can be done quite humanely.
JUST WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE who imagine we'd only do this by telling them to pack a bag and hit the road South on foot?
Good Lord, their nightmares must be something else.
