Anyone else notice our “president” is sounding more and more like a cross between Jeremiah Wright and Foghorn Leghorn?
ROTFL. You nailed it. That is exactly what he sounded like!
Good thing I wasn’t drinking my coffee...I’d have lost it on the keyboard. (no offense to Foghorn Leghorn)...I hate that ‘preachifying’ tone he gets with his black audiences. With Michelle, it’s a natural (although equally irritating) but with him, it is phony, forced and contrite.
So, instead of saying, “I say, boy!” like Foghorn Leghorn would say,
he says, “I say, Jew!”... ?
That's it. I was trying to put my finger on what he sounded like--Foghorn Leghorn. The joke's on him, since Foghorn is supposed to be the quintessential Southern cracker. I'd be embarrassed for him, if I didn't dislike him so much.
