American voters say Zero is currently a big drag on the economy and we’re tossing him to the side next fall.

RE :”
Barack Obama is flitting around the country imploring “Pass the Bill.” The bill he's referring to is the aka: the Son-of-Stimulus. The plan calls for $447 billion in temporary spending and $1.5 trillion in permanent taxes. The President sprinkles all his speeches with frequent claims that his plan will create 1.9 million jobs. However, any bump from all that spending will quickly be offset by the burden of all those taxes. In fact, by 2013 Son-of-Stimulus will create a “drag on the economy,” and by 2015 we will be stuck in “the same place” as if Obama’s plan were ignored. “
YES!
Obama naturally wants to increase spending NOW and further cut taxes (more FICA tax cuts putting SS recipients on real welfare) BEFORE the election and do all the deficit reduction, mostly tax increases AFTER the election. You can hear all the MSNBC economy experts as well as Krugman claim that this is responsible policy which just happens to make things look better temporarily to get Obama through the election (as did the the debt limiit deal.).
But as we Austrian economists :) know, this just puts off the pain until AFTER his election and makes it much worse then, the endless recession.

Drag on our economy - but cash in coffers for Obama Campaign. They are frothing at mouth for that cash- yet to be printed, but no problem there, of course.
