Boston Red Sox pitcher John Lackey has filed to divorce his wife, Krista, who is in the middle of battling breast cancer, TMZ reports.
Lackey filed on August 30, according to court docs in Texas, claiming "the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."

Nice guy. /s
Couldn’t wait ‘til she’s healthy again, eh, Slingblade?
How dare you come on this thread and speak reasonably!!!
“so if you wanna b happy for the rest of your life,
never make a pretty woman your wife”.
“So from my personal point of view,
Get an ugly woman to marry u”.
“The poster forgot the /s tag”.
Oops, my bad. I’ve gotten to a point where nothing would surprise me any more! May I add: prayers for this woman. I’ve had two friends that underwent that type of horrific surgery and chemo. They both told me that the only thing that got them through it... that gave them the energy/will power to try to get better.. was their loving husbands and family support/children. Sad for this woman IMHO.
Or maybe he asked Newt Gingrich for advice. /sarc
The Red Sox are the armpit of the American League...
Sure would explain his pitching. A week ago I took my son to his first Red Sox game and Lackey was pitching. The guy could not get a strike three, it was pathetic. My son was appalled but still felt sorry for him when the entire Fenway Park crowd booed him on his way off the field.
Sorry, for the past ten years that would be the Yankees. This year is an anomaly.
yeah, right.
he's an insolent prick.
Because boston is the armpit of the known universe.
Lackey effing sucks in every conceivable way.
Sorry, but I hope the Rangers kick those so-and-so’s to the curb in three games. On the other hand; you are right about the Yankees. A body does have TWO armpits.
Perhaps, but it's still better than New York, which is the fetid, unwashed taint of the universe both known and unknown.
And I've lived in both places.
No offense taken, time for someone else to have some fun.
LOL yup.
No, he did not say that about cancer. He said that about divorcing spouses with alzheimer’s.
I was just being snarky.
He said that about divorcing spouses with Alzheimer’s”
I distinctly remember a vow about sickness and health! I just assumed it meant what it said... in sickness and health. I didn’t remember that certain conditions were allowed? (Now I am being snarky.. LOL!)
I am just shaking my head in disbelief and disgust. He’s really lost it, hasn’t he? Just dang!
