Students of the Yeshivat Bnei Tzvi in Beit El and their rabbi were attacked on Thursday by Arab workers at the Jordan River Rafting site.
Arutz Shevas Hebrew website has learned that as the students made their way on foot to their bus after a day of fun activities on the site, a Bedouin driving a tractor drove straight toward them at high speed, endangering their lives. When the surprised students shouted at the driver, he got off the tractor and threatened them.
Meanwhile, some of the drivers friends arrived on the scene and one of them hit a student in the face, causing the shocked student to spray tear gas carried for protection in the attackers face.
The incident escalated and at its climax, one of the Bedouin workers ran after the rabbi while holding a stone and then grabbed him and knocked him to the ground. The attacker only put the stone down and left the rabbi alone because the students raised a commotion.
Five students were treated at the local infirmary for light injuries.
Some of the students managed to video tape the entire incident and the group has filed a complaint with the police.

120 students tried to kill the Bedouin workers on site, with one of them spraying tear gas at one of the staff members and the other students throwing stones, a spokesperson for the site initially told Arutz Sheva. A confrontation ensued and the group of students eventually left the place.
Thursdays incident follows two other incidents earlier this week involving Arabs attacking Jews. None of the violent events occurred in Judea and Samaria.
On Monday, a rampaging Arab assailant beat a 40-year-old man with a hammer and sprayed tear gas at a cab driver in Be'er Sheva. One of the victims was moderately injured and the other was lightly injured. Both were hospitalized at Soroka Medical Center.
On Sunday, a 27-year-old Jewish man was yanked out of his car and beaten by an Arab mob in a Jerusalem neighborhood, after making a wrong turn and entering the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya. A young boy yelled "Jew, Jew" upon seeing him, and a mob gathered immediately. The Mukhtar of Issawiya and several Arabs who live in the same neighborhood rescued the Jew, police said, and protected him in the Mukhtar's home, all the while being threatened by the frenzied mob, until an Israel Police patrol car and Border Police officers arrived.

That’s a little late to claim something as notorious as that happened to the Bedouins. Knew nothing about it, sure!
Though why doesn’t the original article say how large the group of students was. Seems to me that if it was really more than a hundred, they could have easily subdued the handful of enraged Bedouins.
Killing someone requires a murderous state of mind. These were teenage yeshiva students on holiday. They wouldn’t know how to want to kill someone, let alone pull it off. The entire claim is preposterous. The company later fired the workers. Why they aren’t in jail is a question begging to be asked. See related links.
A few extremist sects of Jews unfortunately are known for aping the “rocky” habits of their Ishmael-bred brethren. The Modern Orthodox as a rule don’t go for this, but a few Hasidim, whose interpretation of the religion is more “charismatic” in flavor, and who tend to fanatically celebrate individual rabbis, do.
That’s why I was curious to see the dust settle over this and some investigation happen.
The very few Hasidim in Meah Shearim who stone automobiles driving through their neighborhood on Saturday have never killed anyone, I’m sure don’t want to, and do it more as a deterrent than as a calculated attempt to harm anyone. Furthermore, the main group that does this, the Neturei Karta, are very pro-Arab and want to be part of the putative Palestinian State. I don’t think these were students from a Meah Shearim yeshiva anyway. Name of the institution is wrong.
“the Neturei Karta, are very pro-Arab and want to be part of the putative Palestinian State.”
And I thought I had heard all the worst of Jewish nuttiness.
By all means, let these fools beliefs put an end to their genes before they become the proverbial t*rd in the pool (gene pool) of Israel.
So, isn't throwing a stone work? Or even picking one up?
Of course. I’m not defending their actions, just maintaining that they are not homicidal. At any rate, it’s a moot point, because the yeshiva students involved were not of the stone-throwing persuasion.
