Out of the hundreds of out-of-work employees, vendors, investors and other creditors in the bankruptcy of government-backed solar-panel maker Solyndra LLC, one name stands out: the California Democratic Party.
Why California Democrats would be creditor to a company that received more than a half-billion dollars in federal loans to build a solar-panel plant isn’t clear. Even party officials say they’re not sure.
The California Democratic Party’s communications director, Tenoch Flores, said the organization was not owed “any funds in any form” by the California-based company. He said he was unclear why the party would be listed as a creditor in Solyndra’s bankruptcy filing.
According to campaign-finance records, Solyndra donated $7,500 to the California Democratic Party in October 2010. It’s legal in California for corporations to make donations. But that doesn’t explain why the company would identify the Democratic Party as a creditor in its bankruptcy filing a year later.
A Solyndra spokesman did not respond to messages seeking more details about the filing.

Maybe Solyndra just had to list the Democrats as a VENDOR (because of their donation showing up in their accounting system). That is somewhat humorous because it gives auditors an idea of how to pursue the trail of honey.
Actually I doubt the press really understands exactly what’s going on. If they can’t distill things down to a biased sound bite or clever one liner, they just peck around like a bunch of chickens till someone explains it to them in really simple terms. These are the same english/polisci/sociology majors from college that we knew would never get a job cause they were disconnected from reality. Rigorous study was not their forte.
When it comes to repaying creditors, for the democrats it’s: Party First, Country Last.
I wouldn’t go that far. Some of them might be better prepared than some elected officials or any old Joe off the street, but that doesn’t mean that they’re not living in another world, shuttling between Manhattan, Boston, and Georgetown. But yes, they like sound bites and polls just as much as the politicians do.
Why, of course! They owe the Democrat Party EVERYTHING!
Then again, if hustlers like Sharpton and infamous ex-politicians can get career shortcuts, you may be right. The problem is that they’re one big clique, and it eventually will be their downfall.

With the recent machinations of — what’s his face? a noted big money investor — to gain preferred creditor status in the upcoming Solyndra bankruptcy proceedings, doesn’t that leave these Rats in the lurch?
I mean, no honor among thieves. How low can a Rat get.
I’ve wondered how all this stimulus money hasn’t created any jobs. It all gets funnelled to political organizations.

You are absolutely correct. We visited my in-laws this last weekend. They are old-school Republicans, but still get most of their news from old media. They haven’t heard a thing about Solyndra.
The payable was included in an account with the title.. “Unpaid Bribes”
I will be found in the near future that almost every aspect of Obamas “stimulus” was nothing more than a flagrant theft of money to be channeled back into unions sympathetic and supportive of socialism.
Socialism, communism, fascism, marxism, take your pick democrats as that is what they are using to prop them up, to fund their agendas, to keep their mantras of lies, hate and elite control over the dumb’ed cattle of America.
