WOODSIDE, Calif. (AP) -- President Barack Obama is swiping at Texas Gov. Rick Perry, criticizing him as "a governor whose state is on fire, denying climate change."

Obama also poked at the audience reactions at recent GOP presidential debates, singling out those who cheered at the prospect of someone dying because he didn't have health insurance - and those who booed a gay service member.

Let’s not overlook the hundreds of houses and businesses burned out in the earlier wildfires around March or April. Those occurred West of the DFW area near Possum Kingdom Lake and included some very expensive homes at The Cliffs, a private community and fantastic golf course on the cliffs overlooking the lake. .....Perry applied for Federal aid on those fires that raged for a couple of weeks and burned over 2 million acres and Obama refused. ....Those fires destroyed a lot of livestock and pasture land as well. ....Key is that Obama refused any aid. .........Let a small fire burn a thousand acres in CA and Federal aid is right there! Blue states vs. Red?

I too am just sitting in the grandstands watching the riots below.
You know where I live we have some very heavy competition with the concrete business, years ago my company was number one, and another outfit decided to knock us down, take away our contracts and to belittle our reputation.

They succeeded, and how did they do it?

They took loyal employees out of their ranks and sent them to us as concrete mixer drivers, we knew not of their real agenda, and every day they abused the trucks, drove like maniacs, found subtle ways to destroy the product such as adding too much water or a wrong chemical.

They really did hurt us, myself I pretty much saw what was happening but the owners of the company refused to believe my conspiracy theory. So I took it on my own to personally find ways to make every day of their life as miserable as possible.

My guidance was that my superiors were misguided, they were naive, gullible and just plain desperate to hire anyone with a decent resume, they cared not how tainted or dubious the past, it was either take a chance or shut down the operation.

So while they hired ex-cons, drug users, idiot steering wheel holders and outright competitors planted workers whose goal was to destroy us from within I was able to see it all, at many a time I waited and or could do nothing as I was outgunned.

But I kept at it relentlessly, now after 16 years we are much smaller, we have a true loyal workforce, our profit margin is higher all our equipment is paid for.

My strategy worked, it was dirty work, dirty deeds done dirt cheap one could say.

So from my view I can see a similar battlefield below me, and thus it calls for a unique floating changing strategy.

You are right. The same thing used to happen even before George W. Bush was President.

I don’t recall George Bush (either of them) responding publicly to statments made at the democrat debates while they were sitting Presidents. Did they and I just missed it or is this just another low-class Obama disgrace?

Since weather occurrences are so random, it would be clear that the Texas fires have NOTHING to do with global warming, real or imagined. Talk about “science”!
