“He (Perry - also known in Austin as “fancy boots”) believes in fencing, technology, state’s rights, and workplace incentives”
_____________________________________________________

If Perry believes in fencing... why did he argue with Santorum, during the debate that you can’t fence the whole border?

The dear author fails to mention that several very tough immigration bills were stalled in committee during the Texas Leg session this spring.

The only one that even got close to being voted on was the “weak sister” sanctuary city bill that mysteriously died after “time ran out” for it to be voted on.

Clearly, Rick Perry as head of the GOP in Texas has the political stroke to have made these bills a priority, but
instead he engineered a “slow walk” death for them in committee by directing his lap dog house speaker Joe Straus
to put a lot of meaningless crap ahead of them.

Texas RINO’s like to toot about the “great victory” of passing a voter ID bill. Mexicans come to Texas to loiter, steal, rape, drive drunk, cause wrecks, steal ID’s, sometimes work.. and get their spawn free educations and health care via my tax dollars.

The DON’T come to vote.....

This article is a white wash fantasy.

Because you can't physically fence the entire border. The Rio Grande is the physical border of America. Are you going to plunk a fence down right through the middle of it?

Or for that matter, plunk a fence down in the straits between Florida and Cuba? (you know, to stop the Cubans and the Haitians)

You can’t fence 1200 miles. Perry believes in fencing in urban areas, not rural areas. Big difference. You stated that tough immigration bills got stuck in Committee. So how is that the fault of Perry. He can’t do anything until it is actually out there to be voted on. If you are from TX as I am, then you know that it wouldn’t matter what the State did on Houston, they would simply ignore it.
