Problem is not legal immigration, it is illegal immigration. Majority of illegals are under-educated. They cost billions every year in welfare of some form from tax payers.
We have benefited immensely from legal immigration based on qualifications and our needs, such as Dr. Werner Von Braun,
and millions of doctors, engineers, programmers and technicians.
Finally you are right about Perry & Cain being better than other candidates for promoting business growth. However Perry’s position on rewarding illegal immigrants $100,000 for each Texas university students flunks him for me.
Would you care to explain how they are being rewarded $100,000? They have to pay their own tuition, they can not get federal or state loans to help with their tuition they have to pay it themselves or get someone to sponsor them. They have to have been in state for 3 years (paying the property taxes and sales taxes) as opposed to US citizens from out of state who get the same thing for only being in the state for 1 years.
In-State tuition for illegals is called, making the best of a bad situation. A governor has no power to deport.
Maybe states need to do away with out of state tuition.

Legal immigration is a huge problem. We are being swarmed by over 100,000 legal immigrants a month, month after month. There are not enough jobs in the Obummer depression for Americans. We don’t need any more immigrants.
And while I am all for bringing in as many Werner Von Brauns as we can, the majority seem to be third worlders with about a K to 2nd grade education who don’t know what a toilet is. Not exactly the kind of immigrant pool that is going to help us retain 1st world status.
