However Perry’s position on rewarding illegal immigrants $100,000 for each Texas university students flunks him for me.

Would you care to explain how they are being rewarded $100,000? They have to pay their own tuition, they can not get federal or state loans to help with their tuition they have to pay it themselves or get someone to sponsor them. They have to have been in state for 3 years (paying the property taxes and sales taxes) as opposed to US citizens from out of state who get the same thing for only being in the state for 1 years.

That $100,000 is based on difference between in-state tuition versus out of state tuition. Son/daughter of an illegal immigrant is still illegal. To favor them over legal US citizens from other states is asinine.

OK I confess I got that 100,000 number watching the debates.
But the real issue is not the exact level of benefit, the issue is ANY benefit after breaking laws of our country.
