NEW YORK (AP) — Two Americans held for more than two years in an Iranian prison on accusations of spying returned to the U.S. on Sunday, ending a diplomatic ordeal that began with what they called a wrong turn into the wrong country.
Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer arrived at Kennedy Airport in New York City at about 11 a.m. (1500 GMT).
The two were released from prison last week. They arrived Wednesday in Oman under a $1 million bail deal and were embraced by relatives.

Now that they’re out, we’ll probably hear more and more about how evil Israel and the United States are, especially to the poor Arab countries. I’m sure these libs have learned nothing through their ordeal.

Wow, I’m stunned to learn we did not shell out 1.5 mil for these three idiots....so now the question is what’s in it for the Sultan?
Good press. The money is a trifle to him. He’s not your typical Arab. He was educated in the West and he’s done more to modernize (read Westernize) Oman than any country in the region. Oman has been our military ally since the Gulf War.
