Sad, but I nave concluded Obama has ruined the chances of another black president for the next five decades.
BTW my decision to make him my candidate is not because he is black, but because he is a conservative
If Cain defeats Obama - your scenario will be impossible.
Obama is a half white wannabe and Cain is the real thing.
One hopes people will understand the difference. This causes the “another black president” position to not be accurate and is not a true comparison. Therefore Cain’s chances may not be ruined.
This, or course, is based upon the premise that the general population will be smart enough to grasp this - perhaps that is too optimistic though.
It used to be said (and correctly so) that an incumbent senator had very little chance of winning the presidency. John Kennedy was the only one to do so for many decades and apparently did not actually win but only got in because of vote fraud in Cook county, Ill, Kennedy had the luxury of running against an incumbent vice president which was also a very difficult position from which to win the presidency, Richard Nixon had also been a senator before becoming vice president. Of course in 2008 when the primaries were settled it became nearly a 100 percent certainty that an incumbent senator would be elected because both major parties nominated incumbent senators. If Obama is allowed to run again and Herman Cain is the GOP nominee the people will be choosing between a real American black man and a half white fake who happens to be the worst president in our history. There would be no white candidate to vote for other than a fringe party candidate. I think they would vote for the real American black man.
