In a severe embarrassment for the Republican presidential frontrunner, businessman Herman Cain tripped up Gov. Rick Perry in a straw ballot of Florida Republican activists Saturday.
The vote has no bearing on the choice of a 2012 nominee but, along with recent campaign events, is likely to increase the chances that the Republican presidential contest will tighten. It comes on the heels of a poor performance by Perry in a Florida debate Thursday night that disappointed conservatives, including delegates who came to Orlando expecting to back the Texas governor.
Cain received 37% of the vote, more than twice as many as Perry, who made by far the most extensive effort, but finished a distant second with 15%. He barely edged out Mitt Romney, who did not compete here, at 14%.

I'm afraid you are right. Black 'rats will treat Cain the way they treated Clarence Thomas. They held the rope for their white massa's.

Rather Cain/Rubio. Make Palin Secretary of Energy.

Bachmann was dead last. Will she drop out and endorse Romney like Pawlenty did?
Perry was 2nd. This was a warning shot across his campaign bow, however.

It is a texas thing, perry lives in a 10000, dollar a month rental house, but has the taste of a two bit drunk.

Not only did he beat Perry, but he beat the combined total of Perry and Romney. It looks lie he has the “Big Mo”, I hope he can keep it up.

"Ive listened to him enough as a talk host (usually filling in for Neil Boortz) to feel like I know his mind, his heart, and his soul."Same here. Even though he never was great on radio, IMO, I always agreed with him nearly 100% of the time. If he does indeed get the nomination, the overt racism from the left will be disgusting.

If Cain starts to look dangerous, look for a ton of MSM attacks on how he isnt really black. Cain is probably the only candidate who could draw all of the lines between zippy, rev wrong and the black african muslims who rounded up black folks to be sold as slaves. It would be really interesting to see the anderson coopers of the world scramble to condemn him for telling the truth on those issues.

Cain is a big banker insider. I would like to hear what has to say about the fraud and corruption in the big banks.
