I voted for Jimmy Carter. We all did some things years ago that we might not do now. (But Gerald Ford? Full, complete and absolute pardon? I don't know. Anyone out there who thinks Ford's pardon didn't contribute to the notion that Presidents are above the law, and maybe this was worse than anything Carter did?)

Yes! Nixon had already resigned in disgrace although his “crimes” paled compared to those of johnson, clinton and obama. The democraps wanted a public spectacle that they could milk for years. Ford did the right thing.

I also voted for jimmy the first time for two reasons - he was my cousin and a fellow USNA alumnus. I had no idea he was such a total loser until he got in the White House and began to show his sanctimonious pettiness, incompetence and arrogance. Never again!

jimmy is relieved that obama has now taken over that “worst ever” handle!
