Amanda Knox is, IMHO, quite possibly, the most innocent person railroaded in a foreign court during my lifetime. Disgusting.

The position of prosecutor is just another stepping stone in the political career of many corrupt politicians. That’s why innocent people get convicted.

How does one know guilty or not guilty?

Yep. From what I have seen of this case it appears like a shoddy case against her.

So Italy isn’t a modern nation with a real justice system but just another 3rd world craphole. Dare to appeal our verdict? We’ll double your sentence. Criticize our police? Try you for slander. We have no evidence? We’ll make some up.

Cross them off my list of places to visit. Boycott Italy and all Italian-made goods.

AMANDA KNOX: THE NEW MUMIA!
September 7, 2011

by Anne Coulter

“By now, the only people who believe Amanda Knox and Sollecito are the usual criminal apologists and their friends in the American media.

From Tawana Brawley, Mumia and the Central Park rapists, to the Duke lacrosse players and Karl Rove, liberals are always on the wrong side of a criminal case.

A few times could be a coincidence; every time is evidence of a psychological disorder.”

You must be quite young if that’s the case or you don’t read much.
Knox may be innocent. I don’t know and neither do you, but I did read accounts of her weird behavior at the police station(doing hand stands, etc) and her attempt to frame a bar owner for the murder and her other lies about where she was and what she was doing during the time frame of the murder.
If true, that sort of behavior doesn’t point towards innocence.

From what I have seen of this case it appears like a shoddy case against her.

Why did the prosecution refuse to test the pillow for DNA?

Why did the defense attorneys not insist on it for the sake of proving whether or not their client (the boyfriend) is innocent? It makes no sense.

She may be a murderer, but she’s our murderer, right?

I think Amanda Knox may very well be innocent. But she is very sleazy in that she tried to accuse her boss of the murder when her boss had nothing to do with it and did not even know the girl. She was willing to send an innocent man to prison to save her own skin. She is a dirtbag that does not get any sympathy from this corner.

I won’t presume to pretend to know with any certainty whether or not Amanda Knox is innocent or guilty but I believe that if she wasn’t a comely young woman she wouldn’t get a tenth of the interest her case has received to date. Her accusations of an innocent man as the murderer was disturbing and leads me be very skeptical about her claims of innocence. However, because all we know is what the media tells us, I cannot credibly judge her guilt or innocence.

someone on the radio station in Seattle the other day said that the dna evidence has been ruled totally unreliable and that her prosecution is based on a story that the cops suggested....

I don't know if she's innocent or not, but I do get tired of these rich arrogant American "kids" thinking they can do anything in other countries and get away with it....other countries are tired of our sh*t I think.....

I absolutely agree. I read the prosecutor in the Knox case was involved in the "Monster of Florence" cases and was known to have deliberately aided in the prosecution of innocent men. It is my understanding although he did this, he is related to very influential people in the Italian government.

I absolutely believe what I read as a result of my own family's experiences in Italy, I can say without hesitation that this is how things are done in Italy. It's very corrupt and anyone in a position of power is almost always related to someone with even more power. If you don't have that relation, you will be expected to get your hands dirty to earn and keep your title. Those who are virtuous don't last.
