People like Christine Alonzo are keeping President Barack Obama afloat and giving his political team hope that he can win re-election despite high unemployment and sour attitudes about his policies and the country's future.
Alonzo volunteered for Obama during the 2008 campaign. A few months after Obama's victory, she lost her job. She's still looking for work. Instead of blaming Obama for the economic crisis, she's volunteering full time to help him capture a second term.

Likeable? I just don’t get that. I would really rather not spend time with him. He seems “prickly.”
He can't give a speech without sounding condescending and dictatorial.
He has no warmth or affability, his sense of humor is almost nonexistent and he and his wife always look pissed off when they don't see the cameras on them.
I really don't see anything likable about this clown at all.
“Turds float till ya flush em.”
“For a quality flush, use (fill in the blank) as seen on TV.”
“Obama’s sense of humor consists of mocking and demeaning others.”
It’s like he and his ilk are some kind of maturity snobs.
