Perry and Romney should both just get out of the way. Neither of them is fit to lead the USA at this point. Both proved the other night they are typical political establishment "twist in the wind" politicians.
Neither has a single principal or leadership bone in their body.
With the USA, and the world, on the edge of fiscal Armageddon, we simply can no longer afford this "politics as usual" game both parties play on us.

IMHO Perry committed political suicide the other night.
Last night my whole family got together for dinner.
We are all conservative Texans.
The whole lot went from reluctant support of Perry to a split between Bachman and Cain (in the absence of a Palin option).
The feeling was that Perry confirmed our worst suspicions. He failed to follow the winning path of waiting to stab us in the back AFTER the election.

Herman Cain got the most raucous applause. He was awesome.

My appraisal of the candidates now looks like this:
Favorite: Santorum.
Will happily vote/support/work for: Cain, Palin.
Will vote for: Gingrich, Bachmann, Perry.
Will vote for under extreme duress: Paul.
Will not vote for under any circumstances and will actively work against: Romney.

We were at CPAC Florida, and Cain got a very big boost after his speech. His “info booth” was flooded. I know it is anecdotal, but Herman seemed to be the big winner at CPAC.

where many activists have expressed concern after his debate outing the other night. You mean the event where he politically ate a bullet.
