Perry and Romney should both just get out of the way. Neither of them is fit to lead the USA at this point. Both proved the other night they are typical political establishment "twist in the wind" politicians.

Neither has a single principal or leadership bone in their body.

With the USA, and the world, on the edge of fiscal Armageddon, we simply can no longer afford this "politics as usual" game both parties play on us.

IMHO Perry committed political suicide the other night.
Last night my whole family got together for dinner.
We are all conservative Texans.
The whole lot went from reluctant support of Perry to a split between Bachman and Cain (in the absence of a Palin option).
The feeling was that Perry confirmed our worst suspicions. He failed to follow the winning path of waiting to stab us in the back AFTER the election.

Despite what the media says, Mr. RINO-care was never in it and Perry just committed hari-kari by supporting the Dream Act.

Of course, never trust the establishment RINOs, they kicked ever registered Republican in the teeth by nominating McCain.

My cynical self tells me the fix is in. Romney is the pick decreed by the power cabal. I fear only Sarah has the charisma to foil their nefarious plot to destroy the land with the nomination of another McCain/Dole pretender. The pretenders will lose to Barry the won and will make sure this seasons fasions include very short conservative coat-tails.

Between open borders Perry, Mitt socialized healthcare, global warming Newt et al, liberty is endangered on planet Earth and has few defenders. Desperate times call for desperate measures, Sarah may have been chosen for such a time as this.

Herman Cain got the most raucous applause. He was awesome.

Yep Governor Palin needs to either get into the race or come out and actively endorse someone in the race.

She can be either King or King Maker. Conservatives need to rally behind someone soon to head off the RINOcrats and Romney.

It's 3rd and long. We need a game changer move soon or 0, God help us, will probably be reelected.

I think Mr. Cain's initial stage fright is over. As he continues to have his conversation with the American people his popularity will grow.

My appraisal of the candidates now looks like this:

Favorite: Santorum.

Will happily vote/support/work for: Cain, Palin.

Will vote for: Gingrich, Bachmann, Perry.

Will vote for under extreme duress: Paul.

Will not vote for under any circumstances and will actively work against: Romney.

Summary: So if you don't get your way, you will sabotage the country.

Yet another Soldier for Obama in the making.

We were at CPAC Florida, and Cain got a very big boost after his speech. His “info booth” was flooded. I know it is anecdotal, but Herman seemed to be the big winner at CPAC.

where many activists have expressed concern after his debate outing the other night.

You mean the event where he politically ate a bullet.

I'm sure, too. The only explanation for Romney quitting 5 minutes into the primary last time is that the RNC told him, "Don't waste your time, McCain is the pick. Step aside and we'll give it to you next time."
