IMHO it's important because when attempting to undo this, remember that big government run amok is not confined to those with a 'D' after their names.

This is the only over the counter drug for asthma.

And it's a terrible drug with many problems. I would support making albuterol inhalers OTC - albuterol is a better and safer drug for asthmatics. It was just a matter of time before they took Primatene off the market for medical reasons, should have been done years ago.
