And it's a terrible drug with many problems. I would support making albuterol inhalers OTC - albuterol is a better and safer drug for asthmatics. It was just a matter of time before they took Primatene off the market for medical reasons, should have been done years ago.
They are taking it off the shelf because it might damage the ozone,not that it is dangerous!!!
Also let me say this inhalers which have this drug in there if used improperly can cause heart racing. I know I us inhalers! When I first started on them by doctors orders it caused my heart to race until my body became used to the drug!
