A Milford church with a predominantly Latino congregation hosted a forum Thursday featuring Police Chief Thomas O'Loughlin, who emphasized that he expects police officers to protect all residents.A forum on immigration, featuring the Milford police chief, drew a mixed group of longtime residents and recent immigrants to Freedom Life Church Thursday, for a "peaceful dialogue" on a politically charged issue.
More than 50 people attended the forum, including the families of Matthew Denice and Richard Grossi, two Milford men who were killed in collisions with drivers who, police say, were illegal immigrants.
The meeting was organized by pastors Hector and Monsi Quinones of Freedom Life Church, which draws a predominantly Spanish-speaking congregation to its downtown services. Addressing the audience, Hector Quinones said the purpose was "to take a moment to have a peaceful dialogue. This is an important night. It's necessary."

Where the heck is Milford?
Sanctuary State Of Massachusetts.
>>>Where the heck is Milford?
This one is where Willard Romney used to be governor.
Willard Romney, OMG, how many folks will get that???
Romney and Perry love illegals. Santorum is about 10 times better than those two. Ditto Bachman.
Well, I sure hope his department doesn’t get any federal funding, and the state funding should dry up too.
If you aren’t protecting the taxpaying citizens from illegal invaders then you need to be fired.
Milford is a small town in central Massachusetts just south of the junction of I90 and I495. It’s population is about 30,000 people of whom about 12,000 are Americans and about 18,000 are Brazilians.
How many are Brazilian chicks?
Never mind. Not a serious question.
I just told the Chief what his responsibilities actually are. Illegal means illegal.

And here is where we go off the track.
The drivers were either citizens or they were not. Not brain surgery......
Ping!
On Sept 8, I wish this meeting was under different circumstances, began Pablo Calle, representing Ecuadors National Department for Migrant Affairs. We are very sad for the loss that the Denice family and this community had to suffer. There is nothing we can say or do to help them cope with the situation. We need to move forward. They do not this when an America causes a fatal accident. All about law and order and lawsuits, protests, etc,etc.. Related..
Educating Ecuadorians
I think its very important just to let them understand about here, about the laws, Almeida de Stein said. Theyre here and they have to respect the laws.
De Stein said it would take time, but she would educate Ecuadorians living in Milford. That didnt seem to satisfy DeBartolomeis. He gave the consul one month to submit a report on what shes doing to fix the problem.
The problem, to some people, is a classic cultural clash.
Pablo Calle is the spokesman for the Ecuadorian National Secretariat of Migrants. He says these immigrants are indigenous, speak Spanish as a second language, and they face huge cultural obstacles. Thats something he says other Milford residents dont get.
They dont understand the settings theyre from, Calle said. Often times from rural settings, where they dont have the sophistication. They havent even gone to the cities in their own countries, so its very hard for them to understand how to behave in ways that are accepted where they live. The night after the town hall meeting, Ecuadors consul in Boston met with about 100 men and women from Milfords Ecuadorian community. Speaking in Spanish, she told them to behave, not to drink, not to drive without a license, to stay home.
Some men here had already considered giving up the bottle, but not drive? Thats almost impossible, they say.
Yet they are out there driving cars on American roads clueless..
LOL. Very good description.
Since when can he over rule he U.S. Supreme Court ruling stating that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person?
“to take a moment to have a peaceful dialogue. This is an important night. It’s necessary.”
Too bad Messrs Denice and Grossi couldn’t attend. Perhaps if there were less illegal border jumping parasites here, they would be.
“The forum had been expected to draw larger numbers of attendees from the Ecuadorian community, but only a few appeared.”
Surprise surprise. I thought the police were supposed to apprehend law breakers. Illegals are lawbreakers. But then I guess O’Loughlin can be excused. He’s from Massachusetts. A lot of them are mentally challenged up there. Look at who they send to Washington.
There are a brazillion of them.
Good answer!
