Just more pandering ."My responsibility is not to enforce immigration laws," O'Loughlin said. "That's the responsibility of the federal government. It's not a local or a state responsibility, it's a federal responsibility." In other words he has their backs and things can continue as they are.the purpose was "to take a moment to have a peaceful dialogue. This is an important night. It's necessary." If this was an America who did to this to an illegal they would not have this attitude of let us all have a peaceful dialogue.

Well, I sure hope his department doesn’t get any federal funding, and the state funding should dry up too.

If you aren’t protecting the taxpaying citizens from illegal invaders then you need to be fired.

I just told the Chief what his responsibilities actually are. Illegal means illegal.

were killed in collisions with drivers who, police say, were illegal immigrants.

And here is where we go off the track.
The drivers were either citizens or they were not. Not brain surgery......

On Sept 8, “I wish this meeting was under different circumstances,’’ began Pablo Calle, representing Ecuador’s National Department for Migrant Affairs. “We are very sad for the loss that the Denice family and this community had to suffer. There is nothing we can say or do to help them cope with the situation. We need to move forward.’’ They do not this when an America causes a fatal accident. All about law and order and lawsuits, protests, etc,etc.. Related..

Educating’ Ecuadorians

“I think it’s very important just to let them understand about here, about the laws,” Almeida de Stein said. “They’re here and they have to respect the laws.”

De Stein said it would take time, but she would “educate” Ecuadorians living in Milford. That didn’t seem to satisfy DeBartolomeis. He gave the consul one month to submit a report on what she’s doing to fix the problem.

The problem, to some people, is a classic cultural clash.

Pablo Calle is the spokesman for the Ecuadorian National Secretariat of Migrants. He says these immigrants are indigenous, speak Spanish as a second language, and they face huge cultural obstacles. That’s something he says other Milford residents don’t get.

“They don’t understand the settings they’re from,” Calle said. “Often times from rural settings, where they don’t have the sophistication. They haven’t even gone to the cities in their own countries, so it’s very hard for them to understand how to behave in ways that are accepted where they live.” The night after the town hall meeting, Ecuador’s consul in Boston met with about 100 men and women from Milford’s Ecuadorian community. Speaking in Spanish, she told them to “behave,” not to drink, not to drive without a license, to stay home.

Some men here had already considered giving up the bottle, but not drive? That’s almost impossible, they say.

Yet they are out there driving cars on American roads clueless..

Since when can he over rule he U.S. Supreme Court ruling stating that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person?

“to take a moment to have a peaceful dialogue. This is an important night. It’s necessary.”

Too bad Messrs Denice and Grossi couldn’t attend. Perhaps if there were less illegal border jumping parasites here, they would be.

“The forum had been expected to draw larger numbers of attendees from the Ecuadorian community, but only a few appeared.”

Surprise surprise. I thought the police were supposed to apprehend law breakers. Illegals are lawbreakers. But then I guess O’Loughlin can be excused. He’s from Massachusetts. A lot of them are mentally challenged up there. Look at who they send to Washington.
