Full title: Perry: "I Don't Think You Have a Heart" If You Oppose In-State Tuition for Children of Illegal Immigrants
Perry's response was forceful and personal. "I don't think you have a heart," Perry told his critics.
"If you say that we should not educate children who come into our state for no other reason than that they've been brought their through no fault of their own, I don't think you have a heart," Perry said. "We need to be educating these children because they will become a drag on our society. I think that's what Texans wanted to do. Out of 181 members of the Texas legislature when this issue came up [there were] only four dissenting votes. This was a state issue. Texas voted on it. And I still support it today."

That was directed at Sideoutfred the Catholic who drunk the Mormon koolaid, not any of the others.
I’m neither anti-Catholic or for Santorum, but Fred’s assumption that we must be anti-Mormons because we don’t like Romney is along the same logic.
Absolutely, the Lord is in control.
Sweet!
No heart here
Thanks, I realized that and my comment wasn’t necessarily directed at you either.
Oi vei. Some people cannot distinguish sarcasm no matter how you try.
Next time I’ll put it in bold letters for you.
Because we, at least I, keep religion out of it. That’s why. At the end of the day, I don’t particularly care if a Baptist or Mormon or Jew or Catholic or Muslim are in the White House. I know, that makes me a “zot”...right. Whatever.
I believe in people and I believe there is no one right religion. I happen to be Catholic, but I think forcing my views on other is wrong so I don’t do it. I’ve met a few Mormons in my life, very nice people. Outstanding people actually. I’m sure there are some Mormons that are complete jagoffs, just as there are some Christians, some even here, that call themselves such but certainly don’t embody anything remotely representing Christlike actions and words.
Oh the irony.
There was no sarcasm in the original post, it was a typical attack from certain quarters.
I dont particularly care if a Baptist or Mormon or Jew or Catholic or Muslim are in the White House.

And I do care. Religion determines worldview and worldview matters. I will not vote for a non Christian. Period. And Mormons are not Christians - even the Catholics recognize that.
You are the one who said we were all anti-Mormons and that is why we don’t support Romney.
By that logic anyone who doesn’t support Santorum must be ‘anti Catholic’.
Poor assumption on your part, Freddie.
They aren't being enforced at the levels of need....IMO.
What I'm going to do...is keep doing what I'm doing. Lobbying for laws to BE enforced!
What are you going to do? Keep saying we need to go easy on illegal aliens?
aND CHANGED POSITIONS
AND CHANGED POSITIONS
AND CHANGED POSITIONS
AND CHANGED POSITIONS
AND CHANGED POSITIONS, ETC
Enjoy life then...I refuse to be that close minded. There are many religions in this world.
As I stated before, it was sarcasm....I’m sorry you didn’t get it.
As have many politicians and many people in this world.
There are many religions, but only one true faith (Christ).
That isn’t close minded, it is Biblical.
I’m sure billions of people feel otherwise. None of us know, we’ll find out when we die.
well find out when we die.

Than it will be to late. And just because Billions of people feel otherwise, doesn’t make them right. Faith is not a popularity contests.
You aren’t a very good Catholic are you? Or are you only culturally Catholic? The Bible is clear. Its now or never, buddy. Although your statement makes it clear why you don’t have an issue with Romney.
Hebrews 9:27 - And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, NASB
Matthew 7:14 - How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it! Douay-Rheims Bible
I thought that bible also said not to cast stones and judge someone else....funny, that’s exactly what you just did in judging me.
I never said the billions were right, I said billions disagree. Am I a good Catholic...probably not. 17 years of Catholic school including university will do that to you.
I thought that bible also said not to cast stones and judge someone else....funny, thats exactly what you just did in judging me.

Actually it says not to judge unrighteously, or hypocritically. I judged you based on your actions. Do you need more verses that state Christians SHOULD judge? I can provide them.
It doesn’t matter if they disagree, they are wrong. Period.
I did only 4 years in Catholic school, but I was never Catholic.
It talks about judging hypocritically, not judging at all.
Christians are called to judge others who claim to be Christians and judge false doctrine.
But keep going, you are proving my point.
Els, do you have the judging verses handy?
