He didn’t veto letting children of illegals pay for their own in-state tuition.

The first time it passed, in 2001, only 4 members in the entire Texas legislature voted NO. When it was updated in 2005, ZERO voted NO.

If I heard right, this “in-state” tuition goes for those illegals who are in the system for citizenship, no?

Ok, so perhaps he couldn’t veto the bill, but tonight he PASSIONATELY EMBRACED IT, so as Pres. will we see nationalization of free tuition for illegal aliens? Why stop there, maybe we should pay for the tuition of students whose parents are incarcerated...it is not their fault...where does this end? As others said, if a legal immigrant or an American citizen wishes to send their child to a TX university, they will pay OUT-OF-STATE TUITION which is typically 40-60% higher!
