Not having specific economic plans out yet is unsettling and makes Perry vulnerable.
Freeper though I am, must admit...Mitt doing well...
GOP Orlando Debate 9/22/2011
RomneyBOT Chris Wallace and the Romney-TOADS
brings their bias to the Presidential debate.
Its off.
Boos for Gingrich.
FOX got thousands of questions (which willl be filtered for Romney).
Economy was key so FOX will begin by whacking Perry
and laying out the “carpet” for Romney.
Weak questions chosen asking vague matters
such as “what would you do to increase incentive?”
Perry says he will help the lawyers against individuals.
Discussed what HE says are changes he made in regulations in Texas.
Romney is introduced as having a “specific plan”.
(How BIASED is that?)
Fox says it is “timid” based upon a tax threshold.
In response, Romney gets his answer off
and must have had the question in advance
since he has a numeric list.
Romney claims he CUT taxes in Mass.
FOX will not correct him because
... they are biased for Romney. [Romney calls
tax increases “fees”].
FOX (THE channel of McGinniss and Ailes and Wallace,
allows Romney to go almost a minute over the “bell”.
Then FOX lowers its cannon on Ms. Bachmann
with a tougher question.
My answer to that: No.
Because the federal government should have no say in it.
I cannot stand Dick Morris even more than usual lately. He is so in the tank for Romney and Bachmann. Plus, he just makes my skin crawl.
So far...this thread is far more entertaining than the debate.
As a Texan, I agree.
Someone should mention also mention FDR was against Public Unions
Bachmanncan’t ever go to a gray answer. Why not say 20 % to govt or somethin?
The echoing open hall audio is horrible, a major screwup.
Bachmann grrrrr.
********
I hate the condescending mechanical way she seems to start all her answers! I started out the gate wanting Bachmann when she announced but boy has THAT changed!
She was just pandering. You have to fund defense and other constitutional duties somehow.
There’s a lot to be said for letting each candidate answer the same questions. It’s cumbersome when there are so many, but we can’t compare candidates as well when they change the question almost every time.
“Ugh. Is this going to be another Romney/Perry show?”
Let’s hope not. But that’s what the lame stream media and the GOP establishment would like.
Not only training, Newt, must pee in a bottle too...
Point to Gingrich, but then I gig him a half for getting too wonkish....
Why boos for Gingrich
The thing with Rick is that he is the current governor of Texas, having served nearly 11 years in that capacity. Romney is a FORMER governor, only having been in that office for four years. Rick is proud of the job he’s doing, but he does need to be a little less Texas-centric.
OMG...is Newt the only adult in the room?
Kelly frames the question about extending benefit wrongly.
She puts these guys into the situation as it is today, not based on anything, as president, they would be doing immediately to improve the jobs situation.
