Huntsman? It sounds like Democrats are crossing over to sabotage the results.

Something about the results there moves me to suggest they carefully review their sampling methodology SOON.

Do not fall for this crap... priebus...rnc chair... is paying for these polls for the republican elite... shaping little minds... one poll at a time. They crave romney... without romney they lose most of their control. Stay strong and stay focused and tell them to shove these polls up their... well you get the picture.

Since Pat Buchanan proved that winning the NH Primary is meaningless and now that thousands of leftists from MA have invaded and destroyed conservatism in NH this means nothing.

THIS is a SURPRISE???

They helped give us McCain, didn’t they?

Romney is a northeastern Lib so why wouldn’t a statefull of northeastern libs and Democrat crossovers vote for him?

No surprise. But it will help Romney as well nationally as Bachmann’s win in Iowa helped her.

Not sure whats going on here.

Perry, as a Texan, was always a tougher sell in New England, but as to why Huntsman is doing so well, that puzzles me a lot more.

"N.H. poll shocker"

When it comes to politics, I would place most of New England in the same category as Europe - it is as if the time zones affect opinion and they are just too darn far out in the Atlantic. And didn't they give us John McCain last time round?

New Hampshire is so small it shouldn’t qualify as a state.

I’m in NH, and there is no way Romney is getting my vote. And Huntsman might as well be on the Democrat side.

This poll BS is boring. I want to see some real ACTION. I wish Palin would announce she is running so I can see how scrambled the poll will be once she is in it. Every candidate they are pushing so far are just leaving me with a very Blaaaaah feeling. Where is the excitement? All I see from one day to the next is fizzle. There is no Fire in any of them. I see myself as an Independent with Conservative leanings, give me Fire not smoke.

New England Republicans = RINOS

Prime Example: the Maine RINO sisters.

A poll of those likely to vote in the Republican primary and only half of them identified as being Republican and less than half as conservative.

I find it hard worry much about half this group voting in the Republican Primary.

The fact that the LA Times appears to push RINOmney says all that needs to be said.

RINOmney is dim-bulb-crat lite with a twist.

Unlike the dimbulbs, who at least stick to their outdated and unworkable ideas most of the time, RINOmney twists with the wind more than the most lubricated weathervane.

Should we be stupid enough to nominate and elect this loser, we’ll get Obamacare - only watered down and delayed a bit.

D*mmit, we need a conservative with conviction. (Moral convictions, not liberal should be in jail convictions).

RINOmney is not a conservative, and he most certainly does not have any true convictions.

This guy is trying to spin the results in Perry's favor by saying that Jon Huntsman getting close to Mitt Romney would be bad for the Romney campaign. Maybe if Jon Huntsman came within two or three points of Mitt Romney, Mr. Romney's campaign would be hurt, but these numbers could change tremendously without hurting the Romney campaign. For instance, a final result of Romney - 30%, Huntsman - 21%, Paul - 14% and everyone else in single digits wouldn't hurt Mitt Romney at all.

The candidate who can be badly hurt by these results is Rick Perry. If he comes in fourth in the primary and finishes in single digits, he's going to look very weak. He's going to lose a great deal of momentum going into South Carolina and may not be able to win that state. If he finishes fourth behind Ron Paul, that result is going to make his showing seem even worse. South Carolina has a habit of voting for favorites and for "my turn" candidates. In this race, only Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich can make "my turn" claims on the 2012 nomination. If Rick Perry does poorly in New Hampshire, he's going to look less like a favorite and lose even more votes in South Carolina.

Depending on the confidence level (95 or 99), this poll has a margin of error of 4.9 to 6.5. Absolutley awful.

NH? open primaries should be illegal.

Hopefully huntsman will be out of money before the primary.

The second tier candidats are already pulling out of states.

Romney was always ahead in New Hampshire, this is not news.

New Hampshire, will be one of the very few states Romney actually wins.
