Is the next claim going to be that the people involved were not aware of being recorded and thus not admissable as evidence?

No. It reeks of some Democrats having decided Zero is toxic and giving networks the go ahead to run with this. This is actually a way out for them. The networks are still dipping their toes in the scandal. If they go to wall to wall coverage ala Iran/Contra, Abu Gharib, or Watergate, we will know they have gotten the go ahead from Soros-type levels.
It works because if the old media gets blamed by blacks for getting rid of Zero, the damage in the next election will be minimal. OTOH, if a prominent dem were to challenge and beat Zero in the primaries, black voters would stay at home.
Note this is all breaking at about the same time as Bill Clinton said he wouldn’t raise taxes like Zero has requested. So in that regard, HRC is in a good spot. Bill is her beard and she can claim she would have done whatever focus groups well when she is making the claim. And as secretary of state, she doesn’t get blamed for our economic woes, even though she would probably have beeen as bad or worse than Zero.
Her big problem right now is the UN veto that is/is not coming up on the Palestinian State issue. I wager she will work to be as far away from that as she can. There’s no good vote for a rat on that one—they alienate one of two key constituencies—Muslims or Jews.
I’ve said from the gitgo that these gun dealers are in big trouble unless they have an immunity letter from Holder ( or better). So far such a letter (s) hasn’t been disclosed and this recording pretty much indicates there are no letters. You can expect these guys to do the most talking to save their own bacons especially if they thot they were just being good “secret agents”. Simple fact is they were breaking their own laws under which they’re licensed and they will take someone with them. And don’t forget the civil lawsuits that will name them! Gonna take a lot of popcorn to get thru this show.
