It will be interesting to see what comes out of discovery on this. The tasers used produce data on the number and duration of discharges delivered so at least that evidence will be factual.
They were just following normal policies and procedures of the police department. Case dismissed. Nothing to see here citizen.

Glad to see something happening in this case. Its hard to see any valid reason for their actions and the devastation that inflicted on his head and body.

And just think. All of those cops were back out on the streets the next day free as birds for a month until the father made a stink with a picture so graphic that only the Telegraph UK would print it. So much for the US media.
I would have charged the other cops that were there and did nothing to stop that brutality as accessories though. Also, if anyone falsified any reports/records or stonewalled the investigation in any way, they should be charged as accessories after the fact. IANAL though.
Fullerton would probably be burning right now if he didn’t charge at least these two.
Folks were/are righteously pi$$ed about this and the rest of the FPD (giving those not involved the benefit of the doubt) are paying the price.
