To: CA Conservative
Perry is holding the lead, but the direction is not good.

Looks like my worst fears have been realized. After 4 years of campaigning, people have come to accept Romney as a legitimate and viable candidate. Yuck! I just don't think it has anything to do with conservatism.

Perry has his work cut out for him. The GOP establishment is going all out for Romney. If Willard can get some conservatives to join his moderate-liberal coalition, he could pull this off.

This was expected....Perry had an immediate bounce when he entered the race. The numbers were always going to level off...THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS. It is a Mittens and Perry race...no one can jump in and change that. Perry will end up as the Nominee.
