This was my Ah-HA moment: This woman was paid to kill the child. And she did. This is murder. Abortion is murder. I cried. I cried for that (now dead) baby. Then I cried for all of the little cold souls in the IVF freezers around the world. Then, only then, could I cry for all of the babies murdered at the clinic where I worked for so long. How many tissue boxes my small counseling office went through and I walked that pregnant mother back to the procedure room and smiled as I held the door open for her to enter the chamber of death. Youll be alright, Ill come visit you in the recovery room. My God. What had I done? No, I did not pull the trigger; but I cleaned the gun, readied the ammunition, and loaded it. Sure as the guilt of the killer himself, I was sure of my own guilt as well. The wave of remorse and regret was overwhelming. I prayed. I prayed for peace for the babies. I prayed for forgiveness. I prayed for the strength to become a better person. Every sinner eventually has their "Road to Damascus" moment, and this was her's.

Unfortunately not every sinner does.
Hell is full of people who never repented as this woman did.
But your point is still well understood.

I am sorry - I just don't see how anyone needs an "aha" moment for this kind of monstrous evil.
It would be akin to me saying I finally had an "aha" moment that torturing animals was wrong when I finally noticed that the animal I was abusing reminded me of a puppy I had as a kid.

I’ve mentioned on other abortion-related threads that one very effective way of dissuading women from murdering their children came from singing “Happy Birthday”, which can be safely done outside the government murder zone set up around the abortuaries.

The legalistic position justifying abortion runs counter to every other article of law. It violates the concept of homicide as a crime. It violates the concept of "the best interests of the child." It violates the due process clause of the fifth amendment. It is a horrid violation of natural law, which lifts up the sanctity of innocent life.
This particular experience illustrates the fact that the wrongness of abortion is a truth which "no one cannot know."

6 years ago, when I began practicing as a nurse anesthetist at our local children’s hospital, it was very common to have Downs patients in the OR for various procedures. Due to the Syndrome, their anesthesia can be risky & I’ve spent the last few years mentoring nurse anesthesia students on how to anesthetize these kids.
Sadly, over the last 18 months, I’ve noticed that I rarely have the chance to care for them anymore. Then earlier this summer an article came out saying that 90% are aborted. Just sad. It’s so drastic that even I have noticed a reduction in the population & I cam ve a real space cadet sometimes. So if I’ve noticed it, it’s bad.
How terrible. It’s sick that we can’t love & accept everyone as God created them. We have much to pray for.

And this is the way to end abortion in our country.
We need to pray that more of these people would have their eyes opened and have their *Ah-HA* moment.
If there aren’t any workers left to perform the abortions, the industry will die ITS death.

As I always say, abortion is murder for convenience. It's usually out of sight and that makes it out of mind. This baby that was the victim of a contract killing gave a person, and individuality to this woman and woke her up.
She learned, and is dealing with the guilt of her past. That's something she has to live with and there's nothing that can be done about that. However, what she can do now is to do her best, as we all can, to stop others from being victims of murder for convenience.
