I seem to remember hysterical daily news stories and stock footage of people all wearing blue masks, and Obama’s call for calm, cool and barely tested vaccine for everyone. H1N1 anyone? ‘Course, that’s PIG or Asian flu...but I rememebr Carter’s other pet project (besides the pig flu) was a global pandemic of bird flu. And Obama sure is Carteresque.
It was Swine Flu in Carter’s day. Bird Flu was more recent.
