You can't reinvent the burger; you can remake it NEW YORK (AP) When Wendy's decided to remake its 42-year-old hamburger, the chain agonized over every detail. A pickle chemist was consulted. Customers were quizzed on their lettuce knowledge. And executives went on a cross-country burger-eating tour. [snip]
Flat?
I want a “hand spanked” burger!
The only thing Michael Moore & I will ever agree on.

Dang, Nothing near NY
I dunno.
All I know is I dont give a hoot if red onions pollute! LoL
We lost the last burger joint in town that still used them recently.
They had been around since the 40’s and used to have car shows..
Sigh...
Whataburger is the same way
My Son who was raised out of state loves Whataburger LoL
I remember the day he ate a whole one for the first time.
He was so proud. LoL
I think their spicy chicken is as good or better than Chik~fil~a
Not hard, just expensive. We are talking about fast food here not a real 5 star restaurant.
Exactly. I have always hated Wendy's burgers, for the reasons you cited. Although the bad service goes along with it. How do you mess up a hamburger, for heaven's sake?
I hear Five Guys is good and they are building some out here... but my fav’ is In-N-out. They have kept the prices down also. Families can actually afford to go for Burger, fries and shakes. My kid is grown and out of the house, but I remember when I was growing up we went to Dairy Queen and the old original McDonalds in Riverside, CA.... those places were affordable and fun for us.
I guess we are “pepperheads”
I like the new fish sangwich but they leave out the peppers that make Long John Silvers the fish sangwich of choice for me.

Bilderburger...burgers so good, it must be a conspiracy.
(Celebrity voices impersonated.)
It really does chap me that its darn near impossible to get a “medium” burger nowadays
well I am not a native. I remember my first whataburger.
It was the first night I ever spent in TX. I had just ridden a bus across the country and stopped in Junction TX to meet the lady of my life.
I got to see her for the first time and we drove into San Antonio and stopped to get a Whataburger on the way. She insisted, saying that I would love it.
Now it’s hard to imagine life without her, or whataburger...
Is it a NYC thing?
Hey! I pee with the door open!
Well, Goldarn it! I want a decent burger!
I aint askin for the moon. LoL
