The Daily Caller must be sweating (Bowtie Boy doubles down)

Check this picture out that The Daily Caller is spreading around on the internet. Tucker must be really proud tonight of his employee who doesn’t get what was wrong with his vile and disgusting posting and so is now, but posting this picture, suggesting my interview with Tyson was like his posting – trash. My interview was not trash. I actually know the difference.

I interviewed Mike Tyson about his life and boxing. Frankly, in many years on the air, I have interviewed all sorts of people including murderers – what I have not done is used them as a vehicle to spread hate and violence towards women. That is what The Daily Caller does.

I listen to Fox News Radio during the day, Gibson, Kilmead, and occasionally they play clips of different things, one of which are probably clips from Greta’s interview with Tyson. He says some thought provoking things.

I’m misquoting but from memory Tyson said:

I have to make myself bigger than I am (referring to the attitude he must have when preparing for and being in the ring).

Discipline is doing what you hate but loving it (personally, I used to run cross country and I hated it. If I had Tyson’s attitude I would have had greater success).

If I’m not disciplined I won’t live (when he is in the ring he could be killed if he hasn’t trained properly).

I’ve always liked Tyson. I once say an episode of 60 minutes that had him and Gus. I’m inclined to think that Tyson has finally grown up.

Um, maybe he said all that stuff in past interviews...Sounds like you are defending his character, which puts you in a minority on this thread...

Did you read what he said about Palin? It is indefensible IMHO.

so he used Tyson’s disgusting, deplorable comments and stuck them on the front page of his site to defame her

I think what he was doing was worse than defamation. To me it sounds more like propagating an idea to incite violence against Palin.

The piece in the DC is beyond the pale, not worthy of bytes and truly can not be described as anything other than a hit piece.

A hit piece? All it is is a tiny article that says blah blah, Mike Tyson was on a sportstalk radio show and he said these nasty things about Sarah Palin. That's it. You're tilting at windmills here.

What Tyson said was broadcast over the air in Las Vegas on their biggest AM radio station for crying out loud. It wasn't a secret.

All Carlson did is introduce it to a more political audience.

I am doubting Tucker Carlson’s conservatism. Thinking maybe a want to be liked type in Washington, D.C. type conservative.
In any case, Tucker may survive this round with Greta.
There is Part II tomorrow night. (why)

I agree, it could have been a mix of both, but I think it was more to defame her and embarrass her more than anything else. Tucker doesn’t like her, he made that perfectly clear a few months ago with his disgusting tweet.

That's the killer and for those supposed conservative reporters to couch it as they were doing us a favour is astonishing...Go's to Palin’s point though...the whole damn thing is bankrupt.

Tucker Carlson is an “inside-the-beltway” conservative. You’re right, they’d rather be liked by all the wrong people than be principled.

Those like him are an impediment to the tea party movement.

Really TV this is my last post to you.

I will say this. Tyson's words were not just vile but in many women circles grounds for arrest.

Whether it rises to that level, hey I am not in the criminal justice system, but I do know that the sanity behind posting something like that could only be compromised by agenda.

I could debate with you all night long, how it is normal and mostly functioning individuals compromise everything they know as right but you know what, it's obvious you're a person that is not on here to understand.

Good Night, Sir and good luck with those Triumphant Values.

I turned off Greta. She was certainly upset and ranting, but didn’t make any sense.

What is her problem?

Hit the gretawire link at the top of the post and see the comments, they are almost all against Greta.
Thinking that is not good.
I really like her, that is too bad.

“There is Part II tomorrow night. (why)”

Get ready for Tucker’s apology and public penance.

You’re kidding me! Blaming Sarah? That is just the lowest they can go. That is infuriating.

Correct. You can disagree with Palin’s policies, but don’t try to mess with Palin’s good name.

She was visibly angry and I don’t blame her, but she will have to apologize tomorrow because of all the negative feedback. Almost no one is backing her.

There are times in life where one does express themsleves in a manner most are not accustomed too...but in doing so it does command attention for that reason....Greta was not in her TV form tonight...she was however being Gretta just the same...

We learn that sometimes you take a risk and do the right thing...and if it offends someone unintentionally then you apologize after...and if it offends your viewers you apologize...but worth this to make a strong point..Gretta did that.
