And EVEN if we pass it “kill the economy now” economic plan, we still will be $9 trillion short of what we need to take in just to cover HIS spending.

"asks everything of some Americans, nothing of others"

That's EXACTLY what he's asking; you that have money, give it up so we can keep handing out money to our friends, supporters, and the black inner-city parasites.

Lyin' Bastard.

Back in the Debt crisis, Obama's people said that it was 4 to 1 in spending to revenues. He is just a plain liar.

His proposal would increase tax revenues .05 of GDP.

He claims everyone should feel pain? 51% pay no taxes????

During his vacation at Martha's Vineyard - President Obama had been slicing off the tee on every hole.

He asks his Scottish caddy if he has noticed any obvious reasons for his poor tee shots, to which the caddy replies:

"Aye, there's a piece of shyt on the end of yer driver."

The President picks up his driver and cleans the club face, at which point the caddy says: "No, the other end."

He has laid down the gauntlet. This is the battle for America. You are going to have to depart the middle undecided category and choose whether you want Capitalism or European Socialism. The 2012 election is our last stand on earth.

Wow this was worse than I thought his supposed savvy team could come up with. They are chucking up hail Marys with three timeouts and 4 minutes left to go in the game. Is this it, Oblameo? Is this your genius master-plan to get Independents back into the fold, encourage your base, throw up some ideas which have no chance of passing and then sit back like Harry Truman. Oblameo you homo coward, you are no Truman, Truman was many things but America hating he was not. I think if our nominee is Perry or Palin we could be looking at a 47 state blowout for Oblameo. Presidents ALWAYS own the economy, ALWAYS, you can't bullchit your way out or get too cute. Resign you defective halfwit.

I'll go waaaaaaaaaay out on a limb here:

It's not gonna happen.

Even if Zero does somehow convince 50% of voters that he's not as bad as the Republican nominee (whoever that might be) he still has to contend with the 2010 census shift of House shifts to the red states and the fact that the lion's share of Senate seats up in the next two elections are Democrat seats. It's highly unlikely that either the House or Senate will be under Democrat control during any Obama second term.

He's drunk, or drugs, or trying for something (anything!) to campaign on, 'cause he sure can't run on his record. ("Hmmmmmmm. They bought that hopey-changey malarkey once, maybe I can fool them again?")

Higher Taxes Won't Reduce the Deficit

History shows that when Congress gets more revenue, the pols spend it.

In the late 1980s, one of us, Richard Vedder, and Lowell Gallaway of Ohio University co-authored a often-cited research paper for the congressional Joint Economic Committee (known as the $1.58 study) that found that every new dollar of new taxes led to more than one dollar of new spending by Congress. Subsequent revisions of the study over the next decade found similar results.

But no matter how we configured the data and no matter what variables we examined, higher tax collections never resulted in less spending.

The grand bargain so many in Washington yearn for—tax increases coupled with spending cuts—is a fool's errand. Our research confirms what the late economist Milton Friedman said of Congress many years ago: "Politicians will always spend every penny of tax raised and whatever else they can get away with."

Obama is not serious about increasing jobs or reducing the deficit. This is just plain old politics. He knows the Republicans are not going to go along with this, so then he has a chance to campaign that the Republicans are sticking it to the economy.

This is the modus operandi of the far left which is trying to move us to Eurosocialism as fast as possible. First, spend the money creating new and steeper entitlements and create a fiscal crisis. Second, cite the crisis as justification to raise taxes on the upper echelons to complete the redistribution. Rinse, wash and repeat every Democratic administration.

When George the Elder broke his “no new taxes” pledge. I saw the announcement on live tv. He said the Dems had agreed that every new tax dollar would be used to lower the deficit. The Speaker, (Tip?), was nodding his head like a bobble head doll. Instead, as I recall, they spent $1.84 for every $1.00 brought in.
