In an interview with CNN Turk on Sunday, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu claimed that Ankara had previously threatened to veto an Israeli request to open an office as part of NATOs Mediterranean Dialogue initiative in Brussels. Turkey's Today Zaman reported that Israel, through the help and coordination of the US, made an attempt to open the NATO office in Brussels earlier this year and Turkey threatened to veto Israels move in NATOs foreign ministers meeting in Berlin in April

Turkey has certainly made it clear it’s headed for the dark side.
Israel was enforcing an internationally recognized blockade. Turkish citizens were part of the people who were going against international law. What did Turkey expect, flowers around the neck and fruit drinks?
The U. S. needs to make a public statement to calm things down. 1. The U. S. is an ally of Israel and will come to it’s defense if need-be. 2. The U. S. expects other nations to abide by international laws, including Turkey and Egypt. 3. If Turkey remains on this course, it will cease to have a working relationship with NATO. 4. If the circumstances warrant, Turkey will need diving gear to find it’s fleet.
Not good if you're Hungary. I'll stick with Chile.
