They had to insist on the shots, it’s the illegals whom are the carriers. They certainly aren’t going to turn them away at the boarders...to many votes don’t you know.

That’s also why Texas has a very unique problem with HPV.

Which means that until the illegals are thrown out we have to vaccinate our kids, if only to protect them from the carriers who cross our borders illegally. That is actually what makes it such a priority.

It's not only illegals. Too many otherwise smart folks refuse vaccinations for their kids, believing the hype from folks who claim they can cause autism. These folks use the latest statistics about the 'rise in autism' to bolster their arguments. What they don't say is that the 'rise in autism' among kids is because of the newer methods of diagnosis, which includes Asperger's Syndrome, which is more behavioral than anything. I daresay two of my kids would have been diagnosed with Asperger's because they're not real comfortable in new and unfamiliar social settings. Folks used to call that SHY!

The reason for the rise in diagnoses of autism is that schools get more money from the Federal Govt. if they have more 'special needs' students, so if children are diagnosed as 'autistic', they're considered 'special needs'.
