Not really. Romney lost because he didn't say anything relevant in the Gardasil issue. Perry did. Bachmann did.

Here's Romney's problem ~ 12 year old girls and sexual matters, and although we all know LDS has nothing to do with FLDS, every Mormon believes the general public does not differentiate between the two varieties.

Therefore, so goes Mormon thinking, if Romney says anything that'll simply tie him to the FLDS problem. It logically follows that he retains position as long as he is quiet.

Unfortunately for Romney everybody knows FLDS has nothing to do with LDS, so by remaining silent it looks like he's some sort of doufous UNWILLING to get involved in popular and/or important disputes ~ and that just put him 7 pts behind Perry.

Again, for every candidate it is IMPORTANT ~ VITAL EVEN ~ to appear to be willing to leap to the defense of women and children ~ even if you sound irrational. Otherwise you will be viewed by EVERYONE as unfit for office.

People who care about unemployment/jobs and the economy, which is intertwined, is 67%

You can keep spouting “gardasil” all you want to.

If you can’t come up with anything more serious against Perry, you are just shouting yourself horse and nobody cares.
