So sick and tired of this “hostile environment” for women crap. At the work place and in Universities, the rules are totally tilted toward women. There are now work places where you could hardly see one man working (ever seen the accounting department of a typical bank lately?), and yet there’s never an accusation of a hostile environment for men.

The real point is the double standard.

First — do you think the women working in the Obama White House are anything but bitchy leftie shrews? No, they have to be fat and ugly or they’d be tossed out of the Leftie Club. So then, are THEY great to work with? Pretty much not, I’d guess. Third, do they have BIG FEELINGS and are they oh so happy to make sure everyone else knows about them?

hardihar. “I felt like a piece of meat.” We’re using that around here for every whine from now on.

The White House is just a microcosm of a leftie cesspool. I bet you can find it anywhere the lefties have taken over.

You’re right; if you want to see the men just check out who leaves AFTER 5:00. The women are long gone by then.

The fact that nobody links those conditions to hesitation (or outright refusal) on men’s parts to start families is the epitome of denial; someday the current batch of spinsters will get it (long after their child-bearing years are gone). The reverse discrimination with women is even more pronounced than the ethnic nonsense.

Had an experience today that immediately brought this thread to mind; I was in a local bank branch doing some business when the tellers (3 women; 1 American and 2 from the Indian sub-continent) directed me to a Customer Service Representative at one of the desks (where loan officers & such used to sit - formerly known as “the platform”). There were 4 “customer service representatives” (all women, 3 Hispanic/1 Brazilian); they were useless, and one called someone on the phone, saying that in the past they had handled these issues with a “William” something-or-other in the past. In response to what I could only imagine had been a response that the name wasn’t ringing a bell on the other end of the line, she then stressed that this had been in the past. She switched over to Spanish, which I could understand (her English was horrible, though she proudly pointed out that she’d been here over 30 years), then just basically waited me out (over 45 minutes) until I left in disgust. I’ve been to this branch before; even the manager (a foreign female) is impossible to understand.

I’ve always wondered what happened to the Americans (initially men, but apparently women as well) that used to do these jobs (with a measure of competence). Any job that can’t be sent overseas is just being given to these imports here anyway, and anyone who maintains that immigrants (legal or otherwise) don’t drive down pay/take American jobs is a bald-faced liar. What started in manufacturing spread to tech, then business, now just about everything; it is a national catastrophe that has unfolded (past tense), and our country has been destroyed (by both parties).

While I disagree with much of what the freaks that “occupied” Wall Street believe, some of their signs are dead-on that we have been sold out, and that our country and way of life have been destroyed (and they’re doing this with OBAMA in office).
