know where that money is going? after taxes, it’ll end up in the pockets of local democrats in the form of contributions or for “volunteering” as goonion protection.
This is as bad as some of the bonuses that we see the salary workers and ceos getting.
It's funny... Back in 1990, when I bought my first brand new car, I was looking at a Ford, a Chevy, and a Toyota, and I wanted to "Buy American."
When I checked into it, the Ford and Chevy were made in Canada and Mexico, while the Toyota was made in the USA. Being non-union was just a bonus for me. I had that car for 10 years and 197,000 miles, and traded in that car for another Toyota which I had for another 10 years and 178,000 miles.
Mark
yep, a thousand cuts this Clown has brought upon himself...this will make Fox News.
OBAMA MOTORS is REALLY pissed at Ford for not joining the government takeover for the Unions.
That said, what Ford should do is let the Union strike, which they will next year, and fire them all once The Messiah and the jackasses are kicked out of office in 2012. Let the NLRB be de-funded (it's packed with pro-Union Organizers), and then force Right-to-Work laws NATIONWIDE, to once and for all get rid of the Organized Crime that is currently called "Union", INCLUDING IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
Then, prosecute the corrupt bastards who were in charge, jail them, and let the freedom reign down on the Taxpayer.
Wow! These guys are really cleaning up! Must be the success of the Volt.
How about sending that money back to the taxpayers, jackballs?
Changing from Chevy to Ford !!
“This is as bad as some of the bonuses that we see the salary workers and ceos getting.”
Sure, but the difference is, most of the time if the company under performs or loses money, those salary EMPLOYEES and CEO’s lose their jobs. Are Gooniun employees ever held accountable for their shoddy work?
There used to be a saying in the Midwest where I grew up. “Never buy a car from Generous Motors that was made on a Monday or a Friday.”
I’m with you.
So the new employees are going from $14 an hour to $17 an hour? I don’t have my calculator handy, but isn’t that sbout a 20% pay increase? With taxpayer money? There’s some change you can believe in. Military retirement increase over the past two years is 0%. VA Disability increase over two years is 0%.
I just took a look at it. To put it mildly, we'll have to agree to disagree.
Seldom do these ceos and a few of their underlings lose their jobs. They are members of the good old boys or should I now say persons club. Besides, they already get paid for the job they do, why are bonuses even necessary. Ford person myself.
