Really? Everyone? Go back deep in my posting history. I’ve had suspicions about her at least as far back when she took the Tea Party’s name and named a congressional caucus after it. This when the Tea Party was defiantly making it clear it wanted to be separate from the Republican Party.

Whether Bachmann is one's cup of tea or not is hardly the point here. Bachmann has chosen, in this case, to stick to an unsubstantiated and ignorant position. I respect her a lot, but I'll defintely say that Perry is my horse in the race at this point.
Bachmann seems to be carrying Romney's jock strap (heaven knows she would likely get more use out of it than mittens, but I digress)and it is not becoming of what used to be strong ideological conviction. Is she positioning herself for the undercard on Romney's ticket? I don't know, but that gives me nightmares.
For the record: I'm not a Republican.
I have yet to read a sentence this week that I agree with more than yours. It sums it up well.

I defended Bachmann more than a few times after that question. I even posted as recently as a few months ago she was my number one choice. Of course, the Palin Posters assailed me then and slimed Bachmann, but that's another story. Anyhow, I agree with your statement. Chris Wallace was right to ask her that question, and yes, sadly, I've come to the realization she is a flake. My next step is to admit this to my liberal mother, who thought I was nuts for liking Bachmann for President. She was right ... sigh.
She was my 1st choice-sent her money in fact. She has managed to make strong Republican women look like they are unhinged.

Would you say that neither blood clots nor seizures (which are both rare side effects of Gardasil) would not cause brain damage which could, in turn, cause what some might call retardation?
I conclude that Bachmann was trying to really push this subject which simply is NOT Perry’s worst trait/problem! She went OVERBOARD and in doing so, made herself look STUPID!

You are trying to parse words which I do not even know if they were actually ever stated to Bachmann! I do not KNOW that a woman told Bachmann that - do you? You only know what Bachmann has said and that was an over-the-top accusation which studies do NOT belay as accurate!
I'm not parsing words at all. Brain damage has long been called "mental retardation" by some folks. It is nothing new.
And you don't know that a woman didn't say this to Bachmann either. I'm not aware of her having a habit of lying, so I have no idea why anyone would suddenly think she is.
