The "Governor" - did I miss something, or is she currently the governor of some other state? So far as anyone else seems to know, she is the ex-governor of Alaska.

No, it is Governor. In the same way that I referrer to the Yellow Pose of Texas as Governor earlier today. It is about respect.

No one refers to the Great Clinton as an EX-president.

Once a Governor... that title sticks for life... unless you become President... then that title sticks for life.

Ex-governors are still referred to as “Governor” just as ex presidents are referred to as “President”.
You can thank me for your new found knowledge.....

It is routine practice to refer to ex officials by their highest former title (thus, Cheney is “Mr. Vice President” even though he’s not the current VP, etc).

I don’t know if you should use the ‘ex’ or not, but wouldn’t the proper title be ‘Gove-’?
