Democrats working to explain the loss of a safe congressional seat in this weeks special election to replace disgraced New York Rep. Anthony Weiner have come up with some startling conclusions.
California Democratic Rep. Henry Waxman, a prominent Jewish congressman, explained that some Jews are selecting not to vote for Democrats because they want to protect their wealth, which is why a lot of well-off voters vote for Republicans.
One of the more common narratives emerging after the election in New Yorks 9th Congressional District is that the districts large Jewish population was alienated by President Obamas policies on Israel, swinging the heavily Democratic district to Republican Bob Turner.
Waxman did acknowledge the influence of Obamas Israel policy, telling The Hill, There are Jews who are trending toward the Republican Party, some of it because of their misunderstanding of Obamas policies in the Middle East.

Henry Waxman is a far-left idiot but his lame and insulting ‘explanation’ of a Democrat loss in a special election in a congressional district with a 3 to 1 ratio in favor of Democrats is particularly revealing. Mostly because it demonstrates desperation and anger at losing a formally ‘safe’ Democrat seat in congress and indicates that Obama and Democrat politicians, even those in ‘safe’ (Democrat) districts are in jeopardy in the 2012 election. In short, the liberal house of cards is collapsing and leftist politicians such as Henry ‘nostrils’ Waxman are scared and, in his case, breathing hard.
Himmler in disguise.
These days, a lot of people, Jewish and non-Jewish, are voting Republican to protect their wealth, whether they are well-off or not.
Same reason politicians run for office. Same reason cops want to be cops. They gain special access to wealth for the one and special priveledge to break the law on the other.
How could anyone so ugly go out in public without starting a shrieking and screaming reaction from just about everyone? He should put a bag over his face and cut out holes for him to see — to spare us all. It’s the least he can do.
Only an idiot would vote democrat to to protect their wealth.
what a great idea , attack the Jewish voters to bring them back on side
Wow,
First Barry Manilow endorses Ron Paul and now this Waxman business
“Uncle Torah’s Miami Condo” (The new millenium version of Uncle Tom’s Cabin”)
What he's admitting, then, is that your wealth is in DANGER IF YOU VOTE DEMOCRAT!!!!!..........
How about this statement:
Blacks vote Democrat to protect their handouts.
????
Would that be an acceptable statement?
Sounds like good advice to me.
I mean, who doesn’t want to protect their wealth?
I dunno, they sure seem to run as democrats to protect their wealth.
So... They didn't want to protect their wealth in 2008?
AND now WAXman states the obvious that every American should be considering...
Does Waxman really think comments like that are going to bring the Jewish vote back into the Democrat fold?
i thought majority of american jews vote democrats

His mother was frightened by the Phantom of the Opera. Forget the paper bag, now it’s plastic. THAT’S the least he can do.
Waxman. Feinstien. Wasserman-Shultz. Frank. Ackermann. Levin. Weiner. Leiberman.
I wonder if these knuckleheads think that Jews are voting to maintain their wealth. And what’s wrong with that? Why should someone give up their hard earned money. Guess what, I’m voting to maintain my wealth too, Waxhat.
That is all too true....self loathing has afflicted the Hebrews since tablets were tossed
