Pelosi: Losing Weiner’s Seat Was ‘Good Day’—Because Democrats Will ‘Buckle Down’ By Edwin Mora September 15, 2011
(CNSNews.com) - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) said on Wednesday that the Democrats’ loss of the special election in New York’s 9th Congressional District—which was formerly represented by Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner—was actually a “good day” because it made Democrats realize they needed to intensify their efforts to prevail in next year’s elections.
“In terms of New York, yeah, that was a disappointment. We would have preferred to win,” said Pelosi.
“It was a good day because it was something where other people realize we have to buckle down in order to win this,” she said.
“It does not alter our plan for taking back the House,” she added.
Pelosi said that Democrats remain “very optimistic” about doing that.
“We’re optimistic about the recruitment of candidates, the raising of money, the raising of the issues that are out there, and that’s positive for us,” she said.

In a recent skit comic Dennis Miller said that he is convinced that when Nancy goes to be at night, “she hangs upside down,” like the moon bat she is.
If ever there was irrefutable proof of that, here it is in this story.

I’m willing to bet she won’t even be the minority leader when the next congress session convenes in 2013. Any semi-moderate Dem who survives the upcoming slaughter is going to have to act as some sort of “reformer”. Otherwise, they’ll become a perpetual minority because if they keep their Commie leadership they have now, the moderate Dems will be peeled off one-by-one by GOP challengers.
San Fran Nan has a different idea when she mentions “Buckle Down” in her district.

Well, Tuesday’s results should “alter her plan”, but the river of denial is a safer place for Nancy these days.
She should have said “Democrats will BUCKLE”.
