“Lately, every thread is a Perry thread. “
Gives you an idea of who the GOP insiders are pushing.
+1
He's become very popular in just a couple of months and more supporters keep turning up on the threads. For over two years it was Palin 24/7. I sincerely wish she would enter so we could watch the debates.
Yeah. If only his supporters were less nasty, I could deal with the endless Perry threads. But they are like flying monkeys. Endless vengeful threads because Michele Bachmann embarrassed him during the debates.
Yes, it was a stellar moment in Presidential history. How I missed it is beyond me.
Presidential History? Perry isn’t in the WH yet.
If he keeps up all these stellar moments you supporters seem to see, I’m not so sure he’s going to make it. We’ll see.
I can assure you, he will make it.
Remember those words the next time you are conned.
Want to bet? He's governor of Texas, he has to hold those positions as a qualification of holding office. Even Ann Richards made sure she was photographed holding an over-and-under shotgun, and that she was holding it correctly, too -- not like that idiot Al Gore, muzzling himself with his M-16 in that famous Vietnam photo.
Want to see Perry "grow" and walk away from those positions? Send him to DC and put him in meetings with NWO/CFR types all day. See if the "Texas conservative" doesn't rub off real fast.
I'm sure he'll be a good VP for Mitt Romney ..... until Romney loses. Oh, well.
Rick Perry's just renting, believe me. He's a professional pol, and guys like that don't have solid belief systems, usually -- except for Machiavelli.
No, but you can be trapped. That's what Perry and his RiNO bosses are working on.
Someone was relating the other day that s/he worked in a government office with a lot of your stereotypical government employees that had multiple BA degrees and couldn’t count change.
Martin has become a "go-to" quote guy for Mediots bashing Perry. I think he's tied to the James A. Baker III Institute at Rice. (Reflecting, perhaps, Poppy Bush's dislike of trailer-park Republicans and crossovers like Perry.)
Got anything to back up your assertions that Perry is NOT pro life?
Anything?
Anything?
Or just mere speculation, most of which could be said of you, too, I’m sure since facts don’t seem to matter anymore.
Show me where I "asserted" that "Perry is NOT pro life" ...... I said, speaking more slowly now, that he will "grow" if he makes it to the White Hut. He will walk away from some or all of his Texas-crowd-pleasing conservative positions and suck up to liberal statists (but I repeat myself) in Congress and the Media.
I am asserting that he's a politically flexuous opportunist, and that you cannot rely on a guy who does "pay-to-play" in Austin to stand up foursquare for RKBA, the rights of the unborn, and the rights of the States once he's in the White House.
It isn't just his feet that are clay, neighbor. Wake up and smell the coffee.
Oh, please. A week is half a lifetime in politics.
Besides, you may wish desperately that she was back "in" and polling in the mid-20's, before the month is out. Because you know what happens if Bachmann steps aside.
Go tell Rick Perry, Godzilla's coming.
Bachmann’s out because her money is drying up.
Yeah, that's the mechanism for making opponents go away .... Perry is pulling her financial support away. That's the theory; he captures all the conservative political money, and then when the conservative candidates are all gone, he comes to Romney and kisses the Ring of Power.
Job done, he gets his RiNO-promised VP slot and a free car and digs in the Naval Observatory for four years.
Perry? I was speaking only of Bachmann and her loss of traction and the money that goes with it.
