On May 22, 2010, Joe McGinniss moved into a strategically well-situated house in Wasilla, Alaska. It was next door to the home of former Gov. Sarah Palin and her family, but that understates the highly exploitable proximity of the two places. They were very close together. The Palins could probably hear tweets from the newly hatched birds that Mr. McGinniss excitedly uses as filler for The Rogue, his book about his summer-long experiment in homesteading. The grebe chicks have hatched! he needlessly exclaims. ...
Mr. McGinnis, who has been writing best sellers since The Selling of the President in 1969, starts this book by affecting a gee-whiz attitude about his amazing new digs. (Forty years in the business and Ive never had a piece of luck like this.) But he doesnt get far with that attitude. Ten pages into The Rogue he has already blown his cover, printing a map to the Palins isolated house. He describes having gone to the Palin door with a signed copy of his book about Alaska, Going to Extremes, and exploiting this encounter to engage the familys older son, Track, in conversation. But had Mr. McGinniss been a good neighbor, he would have delivered that book without showing up unannounced. ...
Although most of The Rogue is dated, petty and easily available to anyone with Internet access, Mr. McGinniss used his time in Alaska to chase caustic, unsubstantiated gossip about the Palins, often from unnamed sources like one resident and a friend.

Janet Malcolm does not reopen the MacDonald case in her book, "The Journalist and the Murderer." Rather, she examines the issues behind a libel suit that MacDonald brought in 1984 against his supposed friend, Joe McGinnis, author of "Fatal Vision." Joe McGinniss posed as an ally of Jeffrey MacDonald for years. McGinnis lived with MacDonald for a while and even joined his defense team. McGinniss sent MacDonald sympathetic letters in support of his cause. In these letters, he frequently expressed his belief in MacDonald's innocence.
It was only after "Fatal Vision" was published that MacDonald discovered the truth. McGinniss did not believe in MacDonald's innocence; on the contrary, he portrays MacDonald as a psychopathic murderer. The author posed as a friend for the sole purpose of keeping MacDonald in the dark so that McGinniss would continue to have access to his subject. "Fatal Vision" became a huge bestseller and it eventually became a miniseries.

What sorry scum! The POS actually moved in with his target!
Actually it is beyond scum, it is sick. And traitorous, backstabbing, narcissistic, mentally ill, morally dead.
Fits right in with bammy's 32% mentally defective hard-core base.
.
That bottom picture has a remarkable resemblance to a trout!
“...the liberals’ praise is a warning bell you must heed. Trust me on that.” - Sarah Palin
What was really disappointing and somewhat infuriating (no, not somewhat) were the few (maybe a dozen, maybe twenty) on FR that chose to pile on, making scenarios about how what this scumbag wrote is probably true, or a dozen other disgusting scenarios that fed their PDS.
They make me want to throw up.
Those feminists appear to be doing designer drugs. Yuk.
Sarah has a real chance of picking up a ton of dem votes with this book, one glancing at headlines might think she is like WJC, lol,... the more sordid the better the left likes politicians.
The Slimes is circling the porcelain God and they are trying pull themselves back from the brink of irrelevancy?
Are they figuring out their support for the empty suit was the biggest mistake of their entire existence?
Hmmm....
I won’t hold my breath.
You just insulted all fish! ;)
No doubt!
Methinks you’re on to something there.
LLS
Well, the only reason that scumbag wrote that idiotic book is to make her look bad..but really, supposedly sleeping with an ex-Laker..as a die hard fan I dont think that’s a bad thing, I always thought she was a Celtics fan LOL..slimeballs like McGinnis give me the creeps, he’s one of those guys you’d see in a dark alley and run like hell from
I went AWAY from the computer for most of the rest of the day. Being furious was part of it, but utter revulsion at the way some people were reacting so gleefully to this, especially those who post heavy, heavy holier than thou religious threads all the time, just had my blood boiling. I was shocked down to the core.
None of them even considered what crap like this would do to her family, her friends, her younger children. These are not people I care to know or discuss anything with ever again.
I hear ya but really, dont worry about it..the ones you see trashing Sarah never liked her to begin with..the things that they say are word for word what comes out of the mouths of leftists..this “book” if I can even call it that, won’t sell 5 copies and I’m being generous..its utter crap, I wouldn’t use it to pick up my dog’s poo its such slime. Oh and the ones that talk about “Oh My God she supposedly had sex before marriage” ya know the ones that claim that they are better then everyone else, I’d love to see the skeletons in their closet, I bet its juicy
And for what? Helping humiliate a conservative who has put herself in the line of fire to forward effectively at least 90% of what they themselves believe. They willfully propagated a slimeball liberal's smears and go their jollies doing so.
Revulsion. Now that's a word.......
.
I called one out this morning and got called a fascist.
How nice is that.
:-)
I didn't want to post anything for 8 hours it was so sickening.
