Way back in 1974 I went to Panmunjom as I was in the Army stationed at Yong Son, Seoul.
I took along lunch in my Snoopy lunchbox and sat and ate it all the while staring at North Korean guards.
They don’t smile much there I tell ya. No sense of humor.
But even back then they looked malnourished.
To wear down the resistance of the North Koreans, the US on the DMZ needs to have huge barbeques every day, with lots of meat, especially pork, and anything else that has an irresistible aroma. Like that scene in Sahara where the Germans, dying of thirst, are watching the Allies, who have water, practically bathing in it.
(Say, on weekends would you be available to chaperone dances at my daughter's school?)
