I'm surprised SWP candidate Chris Hoeppner is doing so poorly. Every poll had him at around 3-4%. Right now he's far below 1%. Even when you factor in liberals changing their mind at the last second and voting RAT because they don't want the Republican, usually any third party kook will get at around 2%. Nader went from polling 5% to getting 2.6% on election day. Hoeppner's gone from 3% to a statistical 0%. I find that fishy.

On an interesting note... not fishy but it shows you I know little about NYC politics and demographics.... the candidates are in a dead heat in the Queens part of the district, but in Brooklyn, Turner is crushing Weprin by a 69%-30% margin!!! I would have guessed the Queens part of the district would more GOP friendly than Brooklyn, and I could never imagine a Republican winning 2-to-1 in a RAT friendly Brooklyn CD. What kind of Brooklyn neighborhoods are in NY-9, I wonder? Most of Brooklyn is very safely RAT, moreso than Queens.
