AKELAND - Two and half months is a long time to be stuck in the hospital, especially if you don't really have to be there. Yvonne Gallimore has been living at Lakeland Regional Medical Center because she had no place else to go.
Now, she finally does. Gallimore just moved into a duplex provided by the Lakeland Housing Authority. It's a big improvement, but not easy living yet. It has big, French doors, so she can get out quickly in case of an emergency.

When emergency workers took Gallimore to the hospital a few months ago, they had to take down the bedroom wall of her old place because they couldn't get her out any other way.
After a FOX 13 viewer saw her story, she donated $100,000 to help.

Are you one of the bureaucrats in the Social Security office that routinely deny all claims, hoping the taxpayer dies of frustration first? Just curious.
Eeeeewww!
