Good post Marty.

I remember even when it came out and Perry wasn't even involved there was discomfort about administering it to 12 y/olds. The thinking being it somehow provides a green light for sexual activity.

I seriously doubt having a vaccine is going to make a girl run out and have sex if she is not otherwise inclined and not having a vaccine will prevent premature sexual activity.

Most girls don't even know that cervical cancer can be caused by an STD only that this vaccine is one of many designed to protect them throughout their lives.

It's almost like certain commentators feel that if one is promiscuous (or monogamous with previously promiscuous partners) they deserve to get cancer.

Yes I hear what you are saying. No ONE deserves Cancer.

To bad that young women will not have the protection they need. Especially with the high mortality rate of Cer.Can.
